Dr. Lutta is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in treatment of problems involving the foot and ankle. He graduated cum laude with a degree in Biology from Clark University in Worcester, MA. He earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, where he was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Howard University Hospital and went on to a fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Lutta received the Certificate of Achievement in Orthopaedic Surgery from the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and the Charles Epps Award for Excellence in Orthopaedic Surgery from the Howard University College of Medicine. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.

Dr. Lutta is a sports enthusiast and enjoys sharing his medical expertise with local high school and college athletic teams. During his residency, he was a physician for football and basketball teams in the District of Columbia public schools.

As an orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Lutta is committed to helping his patients return to their desired level of activity and improve their quality of life by offering the most advanced treatment methods for all foot ankle conditions.

In his free time, he enjoys music, traveling and sports. He lives in Fairfax with his wife and daughter.
