Upon earning his medical degree, he completed an internship and residency in orthopaedic medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center. As an orthopaedist, Dr. Lennen finds satisfaction in helping people who suffer from an orthopaedic injury or disease to regain their function and quality of life. He especially enjoys working with elderly patients to alleviate their pain and help them regain a sense of independence through joint replacement and reconstructive procedures. His special interests within orthopaedics include joint preservation procedures, arthroscopy of the knee, hip, shoulder, and ankle, minimally invasive joint replacement, resurfacing, and total joint replacement.
Dr. Lennen is an active member of numerous professional medical associations.
