In addition, he has a keen interest in hospital affairs and has served many years on the Medical Executive Committee of the Virginia Hospital Center where he also served as Medical Staff President. He continues to be interested in the changing face of medical care delivery and frequently lectures about “Medical Care in the New Millennium.”
Dr. Lefton and his wife, Hannah, both grew up in Detroit, Michigan and have two grown sons. He is an avid scuba diver, as well as an accomplished underwater photographer. He enjoys hiking with his labradoodle, traveling, learning about modern art and especially, being a grandfather.
