For patients suffering from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Dr. Sarah Pettrone performs a new procedure called endoscopic carpal tunnel release. "I use a special instrument that includes a camera and a blade. The camera is inserted into the carpal tunnel, and then a ligament is released with the blade," says Dr. Pettrone. This technique can reduce rehabilitation time the scar can be somewhat less noticeable.
