“Shortly after moving to Northern Virginia from Texas in 2000 I joined Commonwealth as a Biller. Commonwealth has allowed and encouraged me to grow along with them. They encouraged me in my efforts to obtain my credentials and to learn as much as possible about healthcare coding, billing and compliance. Eleven years later Commonwealth and I are still growing. Over the years I have been rewarded with respect and the knowledge that employees here are appreciated. We have some of the best trained staff in the area because Commonwealth believes in Quality! Another thing I loved when I first joined that still is true today is the feeling of family. And like any other family, we celebrate weddings, babies, graduations, anniversaries, birthdays, and support each other in times of sorrow. I can’t imagine being anywhere else until I retire!”

Coding Compliance Manager
“I first started with Commonwealth in January, 2008 working in our Insurance Verification department. After experiencing the behind the scenes tasks of insurance and benefits, I became the surgical scheduler then eventually fulfilled the duties of Dr. Sarah Pettrone’s medical secretary in Reston. My placements in those duties led me to take on the position as the Credentialing Coordinator of our practice. With hard work, dedication and the personable skills I’ve carried at Commonwealth over the few years, has led me to where I’m at today. The opportunities, employee benefits, atmosphere and co-workers make Commonwealth a positive place to work. Coming to work every day with a smile on my face is a wonderful feeling.”
